Help educate the children of Haiti

A year after the earthquake misery in Haiti, the Haitian people need our help. The Salesian Sisters are doing a community effort by opening a school for children in an orphanage. They need our cooperation. Therefore, we request the authorization for an activity involving students, parents, teachers and school staff.

The activity will consist in collecting materials such as books, pencils, bags, coloring books, crayons and more. This material should be collected before March 29, 2011, as the van that transported the material collected will leave for Haiti on March 31, 2011.

Teachers specialty academic and disseminating information related to the activity and materials collected in their classrooms or group homes in general. The homeroom that collects more donations are rewarded with a "Pizza Party" during the week of language and library.
