TIPS ON FINDING A NATIONAL AGENCY PROJECT

This is not a magic formula or a standard to follow, just a few tips so far have failed.

1. Finding a shipping entity. This entity ayduará you looking for a project ("help" is not going to give you a list of projects to choose from. It means that in the search process you are going project to offer support and advice). To find a shipping entity is a database with accredited organizations

2. Deciding where to start looking for projects. There are three options (at least):
a) look for areas or countries (for example: I am interested in northern Europe, or Italy).
b) Search by type of project (eg: I want to do a project with people with a physical disability)
c) Combine a) and b)

3. Be clear about what you want. It may seem obvious, but ...

4. Start looking. Remember that the sending organization is to help in this process.

5. Select multiple projects that you find interesting. Typically, you do not select the first project you choose, so you better go getting the idea that should have several options and not close on a single project band or venue.

6. Writing a CV and a cover letter for each project that interests you.

7. Sending emails / letters to potential Host Organisations. As usual, pull your shipping entity.

8. Be patient. Home There are many entities that do not answer (for better or worse) to emails, letters or phone calls, or simply no such emails or phone numbers. But if a host institution does not even bother to answer a simple e-mail, do you really think it's interesting to do a project with ell @ s?
