OBITUARY DEATH IN A SMALL TOWN NORTH OF FRANCE, THE POET CARLOS EDMUNDO DE ORY GADITANA

The poet Carlos Edmundo de Ory died on November 10 as a result of leukemia in a small town near Amiens in France, where he lived for over fifty years.
was born in Cadiz in 1923, modernist poet was the son of Edward Ory. At 17 he published his first book of poems "Shadow and birds" with strong influence of his father. He completed his studies in Cadiz and then moved to Madrid where he worked as a librarian until 1953, the year in getting a French government scholarship to study in Paris, there will know what would be his first wife but not only loved her, but also from France, which would adopt as his own until his death. After a brief period of two years as a teacher in Peru, he returned to France to combine teaching at the University of Amiens with his prolific poetic production.
The poet belongs to the movement postista. He defines himself as a crazy Postismo invented to be completely free and as all art is emotion. Language is the source of inspiration and postwar avant-garde poetry has two main themes, love and pain, these two words define it all. Luis Eduardo Aute has put music to several of his poems.
In 2005, Cadiz favorite son named him in his hometown and a year later the Andalusian distinguishes it as a favorite son of Andalusia, but never received any prize for poetry at the national level.
Carmen Caffarel, director of the Cervantes Institute, defines it as one of the most relevant damned poets XX and XXI century. Given the limited disclosure
has poetry in general, Carlos Edmundo de Ory has had more prestige than readers. He was defined as a stateless person a heretic and wanted to be buried dressed as a clown, do not know if, at death 87 years it will be achieved. LOLA
